Responsibilities Work in a hospital Operating Room setting Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 19 : 30 Cares for a variety of surgical cases, including trauma Level 2 trauma experience required; Level 1 preferred Weekend shifts required On-call responsibilities with weekday call from 8PM-6AM, and weekend call in two 12-hour shifts Expected on-call frequency is 2-3 shifts per 6-week schedule period Must be able to circulate a wide range of OR cases Floating required within the hospital and to affiliated hospitals nearby Responsibilities include circulating for a broad range of surgical cases and responding to trauma cases Candidates will float within PACU and between affiliated hospital sites as needed Orientation modules must be completed during onboarding and annually, averaging 6.5 hours outside paid hours Return staff must have been separated for at least 90 days to be eligible All previous employment at this facility must be disclosed for eligibility verification First-time travelers will be considered Specific dress code or scrub requirements will be provided at orientation Requirements Active KY or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 4 years of recent Operating Room RN experience BLS certification required Trauma OR experience required; Level 2 required and Level 1 preferred Must be able to circulate a variety of surgical cases No disciplinary actions or hits on nursing license accepted Local travelers within 75 miles not accepted At least one recent reference from a charge nurse or supervisor is required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630821.
