Job Description
Reporting to the Reservations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
Responsibilities
- Key room contact for group programs, from initial turnover process until event date
- Attend weekly pick up meeting and assist in group forecasting
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Maintain good working relationships with Global Reservations Centre, Travel Agents and external / internal Guests
- Respond to all reservation requests and incoming calls in a courteous, efficient, professional and friendly manner in adherence to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts standards
- Provide administrative support to Reservations Manager and action items as required in an efficient and professional manner
- All other duties as assigned

Previous hotel experience and customer service experience requiredExperience with Opera PMS, Passkey GroupMax & Opera Sales & Catering preferredAbility to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays.Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications requiredStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentEffectively deal with guests and other team membersAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesMaintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assetsPhysical Demands
