Job Title : Health Policy Director
Salary Range : $75,000 – $90,000
Reports to : Chief Executive Officer

The Tennessee Primary Care Association (TPCA) is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as our Health Policy Director . This role drives TPCA’s policy and advocacy efforts, advancing the work of Tennessee’s community health centers and strengthening access to care for patients across the state.
The Health Policy Director leads TPCA’s federal and state policy strategy and will shape how TPCA navigates evolving healthcare policy, advocating for the sustainability of health centers, and represent health center interests with state and national partners. This position manages contract lobbying activities, engages with key decision makers, and works closely with health center leaders to ensure their voices are reflected in policy decisions that impact their operations and the communities they serve.
As part of TPCA’s leadership team, the Health Policy Director will collaborate across departments to align advocacy, education, and partnership efforts with TPCA’s mission and strategic plan. The ideal candidate brings a blend of policy expertise, political savvy, and relationship-building skills and is energized by translating complex policy into meaningful action for Tennessee’s health centers and patients.

Actual salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. The posted salary range reflects a variety of experience levels beyond the minimum requirement.
