We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the LinkedIn media team. This role has a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast-growing specialty agency. Directive has a proven playbook of GTM product success, with the successful launch of our Start-Up division, the fastest growing department in Directive’s history. Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts
- Serve as direct support to client contacts
- Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, quality, and improvements
- Build strategies for clients each quarter
- Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
- Provide fractional support for internal marketing in support of a boutique agency within Directive
- Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
- Responsible for personal productivity and utilization
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to align internal and client goals
- Understand the value of programmatic campaigns
- Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships and professional network
- Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI
Qualifications
4+ years of experience working at a performance / digital marketing agency, with hands-on experience supporting B2B clientsDeep expertise across paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn AdsUnderstanding of different Ad Units within LinkedIn such as Conversation Ads, Document Ads, CTV and moreProficiency with advertising platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ZoomInfo, 6sense, and moreAbility to delegate to junior team members to ensure joint successStrong understanding of Paid principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimizationAbility to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel, or other analytics platforms to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaign performanceAbility to drive results and measure via OCTExperience with audience segmentation by tier, job title etc.Proven and measurable success with mid-market or enterprise accountsAbility to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with dataCompetitive and curious; you’re a true problem solverYou live on the cutting edge of the industry, always looking for opportunities to grow and shareAbility to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyQuality-obsessed and committed to ethical advertisingWillingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, as neededWhat Success Looks Like

We offer a base salary range for this position in the United States : $85,000-$95,000 USD, with potential for bonus eligibility. As a remote-first company, you’ll be able to work from anywhere in the US, with optional offices in Irvine, CA. For some positions, we accommodate global opportunities where we have established businesses, including Canada, the UK, and Australia. This role is 100% virtual from your home office. Collaboration occurs via Zoom and Slack. You’ll use a laptop, necessary software, and productivity tools.
