Civil / Structural Engineering Operational Manager / PE

Our client in Tewksbury, MA is seeking a full time onsite Civil / Structural Engineering Operational Manager / PE who will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following : Oversight and quality control of all engineering activities within the organization as an active member of the senior leadership team; using Engineering tools and performing analysis and design of structures, performing site investigations and field measurements, and developing construction documents; preparing proposals and writing reports; developing and executing training programs; and leadership and mentoring of junior Engineering team. The ideal candidate will bring an entrepreneurial spirit and desire for continuous improvement and learning and be equally effective working autonomously as well as part of a team.

To be considered, you must have :

• Active Professional Engineer License
• Experience with preparing proposals, writing reports, and reviewing engineering drawings / documents
• Willingness and ability to be onsite in office daily
• Experience training, mentoring and developing junior engineers
• Single story and mid rise structural design experience
• Experience with a combination of Revit, RISA 3D, TEDDS, RAM Steel, RAM Advanced, ENERCALC, and Excel
• Solid verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with an entrepreneurial spirit, and proactive mindset and approach
