HEAVY DUTY EQUIPMENT / TRUCK MECHANIC (SWING SHIFT)

We have an excellent opportunity for a Swing Shift Heavy Duty Equipment / Truck Mechanic at our Shop in Tangent, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain and repair construction trucks and equipment, including hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs and welding
• May perform service repairs in the field
• May have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of units from small fleet vehicles, class 8 trucks / trailers, construction equipment and large mining machines
• Complete all paperwork that may be necessary
• Must have own journeyman hand tools, but Knife River does provide large tools and has a replacement policy
• Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
• Other duties assigned as needed

Hours and Schedule

Hours : 4 : 00 PM to 12 : 30 PM. Must have the ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, off shifts and weekends.

Compensation

$26.13-$45.74 per hour. Wages reflect a $3.00 swing-shift differential.
