ER RN Job Details

Location : Hilo, Hawaii (96720) – Hawaii healthcare jobs

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680–$1800

Setting : 28-bed Emergency Department (includes 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms)

Shift : Nights – 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hours weekly) following orientation

Start Date : November 24, 2025

End Date : February 23, 2026

Employment Type : Travel Nursing

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Hawaii RN license (must be obtained by assignment start date)

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Current BLS certification

Strong clinical skills in a fast-paced, high-turnover ER environment

Excellent teamwork and communication abilities

Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a busy emergency room setting

Assess, triage, and monitor patients in trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitor rooms

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Respond efficiently to emergencies and rapidly changing clinical situations

Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
