Electrical Engineering Intern - The Toro Company

The 2026 Summer Internship Program will run from May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Candidates must be available to start on May 18 and participate through the duration of the program.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for completing a small electronic circuit board project during the course of the summer. You will be responsible for the following tasks :

• Create a specification for the product.
• Schematic capture and circuit design.
• PCB layout with the help of one of Toros PCB designers.
• Testing the finished product in the lab using tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.

The work will be guided by other electrical engineers to provide mentoring and keep the project on task. Other summer activities will include some job shadowing, possibly a vendor visit or trip to Toro manufacturing plant(s) ,and depending upon the candidate, some scripting in Python or similar language.

Summer Hours

Competitive Pay anticipated pay $22.00-$33.00 per hour.
