Specialist Procedures Technologist - Full Time Days position

Loan Repayment Assistance Program up to $20,000 Lifetime : The Imaging Loan Repayment Assistance Program provides financial support to our Mercy Imaging co-workers in a 24X7 hospital based eligible position who are in a .4 FTE and above, working 32 hours or more per pay period. The program offers monthly payments made directly to the loan servicer up to the amount of $370 per month and up to $20,000 for a lifetime maximum.

Overview :

Works closely and efficiently with other Radiology staff, OR staff, Surgeons, and Interventional Radiologists in performing a wide range of Interventional procedures. Performs related duties as assigned. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications :

Education : Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.

Experience : 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program.

License(s) : State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. If practicing in Arkansas, a Radiologic Technologist License is required.

Certification(s) : ARRT

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities : Skills :

Effective communication.

Proficient in the use of : Digital Angiography Equipment, Interventional equipment, PACS, Computers.

Abilities :

Stand for up to six hours with protective gear (lead apron, mask, gown, glasses, gloves).

Manipulating Angiography equipment, including mobile and other equipment.

Lifting, moving, and transporting patients.

Continual standing and walking.

Proficiency in manipulating Angiography equipment, including mobile and other equipment.

Evaluate and process digital images.

Able to recognize emergency situations.

Ability to adapt to stressful situations.
