Job descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel to relay security-related information and updates as needed. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal protocols. A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Must be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Manufacturing
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Manufacturing in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
