Job descriptionPrepare for surgical procedures using aseptic techniques. Set up and maintain a safe, efficient operating room environment. Assist in various surgical procedures, anticipating surgeons' needs. Transport patients and equipment safely, ensuring optimal patient care. Participate actively as a Second Assistant when necessary. Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 6 months. No prior experience is required. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical equipment. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Basic computer proficiency. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining composure under pressure. Exposure to hazards such as mechanical, electrical, and blood / bodily fluids is expected.
