Job description

We partner with some of the leading freight forwarding companies in the U.S.

One of our clients - a growing international freight forwarder focused on the Asia / US (TP) trade lane - is expanding their sales team in the Chicago area .

They are seeking experienced Sales professionals with a proven track record in Asia / US trade lanes , and ideally, an existing book of business.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to grow market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their logistics needs
  • Promote freight forwarding services tailored to customer requirements
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and identify new business opportunities

Requirements :

  • Minimum 2 years of Outside Sales experience in freight forwarding (required)
  • Experience specifically in Asia / US (TP) trade lane
  • Proven track record of developing new business and / or managing a book of business
  • Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, supply chain, and customer engagement
  • Must be US-based , preferably in Chicago area
  • Compensation & Benefits :

    Base Salary : $70K-$250K / year (DOE & book of business)

    Commission based on portfolio and performance
