• Previous travel experience preferred

• Competence in managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 1, 2 : 1, or 3 : 1

Description :

The role involves providing nursing care in a critical care setting.

You will be responsible for patients recovering from open heart surgery, neuro surgery, and vascular surgery.

The position may include caring for trauma patients and overflow medical cases.

You will utilize technical skills for various procedures such as chest tube insertion, swan placement, and temp pacers.

Pre- and post-operative care for cardiac and surgical patients is a critical component of this role.

Charting will be done using Cerner.

The position has a weekend requirement of every other weekend.

Floating to other medical units may be necessary with a maximum of 4 patients.

Navy blue scrubs are required for this position.
