The Research Compliance Analyst will provide support for multiple research compliance areas including Research Conflict of Interest, Research Education and the Research Audit Program. Serves as the institutional resource for Research Conflict of Interest (RCOI) disclosures and Research Education training requirements. Performs internal audits of research protocols to determine compliance with research regulations and Institutional policies. Performs other duties as needed.
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Life Sciences required. Minimum two years of clinical research, regulatory affairs, healthcare compliance, clinical quality assurance or internal auditing experience required. Experience may be considered in lieu of Degree. SoCRA or ACRP Certification required within a year of eligibility.
Familiarity with research conflict of interest regulations and research education requirements. Exceptional communication skills necessary to positively and effectively interact with administration, faculty, research entities, and the media in a professional and perceptive manner. Serves as a model of excellent customer service for personnel within all departments of Research Affairs and those we serve. Able to read, write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
