Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary :

Peer Mentors (PMs) are assigned to work in the SLRC to provide support to students and the SLRC staff. Support is accomplished in a variety of ways :

• Review of basic skills (practicing vital signs and health assessment)
• Assist students with Deliberate Practice (DP) including tracking student visits i
• Help students with any skills needed (vital signs, BP, catheterization, injections, etc.)
• Help with set up and break down of simulation events
• Assist with keeping the SLRC maintained

Requirements :

Students in good academic standing; full-time enrolled College of Nursing student
