POSITION SUMMARY :
Keeps lobby and public facilities (such as lobby restrooms, telephone area, front desk, and offices) in a neat and clean condition. Public area attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and address guest requests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms.
- Sweeps carpets.
- Empties ashtrays, urns and all trash cans.
- Polishes furniture and fixtures.
- Vacuums and polishes elevators.
- Keeps the front of the hotel and all public space free from trash.
- Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and shampoo machine.
- Washes walls and ceilings, moves and arranges furniture.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors.
- Dusts and polishes metal work.
- Maintains lobby cart, cleaning materials and chemicals.
- Attends daily department stand up meetings.
- Clean and maintain all equipment daily.
- Follow up a special cleaning schedule given by the housekeeping management.
- Report maintenance to supervisor / housekeeping management immediately.
- Comply with Lost and Found policy of the hotel.
- Assist Guest in public areas when required.
- Have good knowledge of all hotel facilities, hours of operation, restaurants, shops and function rooms.
- Post caution signs as and when required.
- Responsible for upkeep of all the equipment in use i.e., vacuum cleaner, mops dry & wet, scrubbing machine.
- Complete special projects and additional tasks as assigned by management.
PREREQUISITES :
Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance required.Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend with ability to lift, push, and pull.Must have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.PIf6f37e37a883-30511-35643531
