Locum Nurse Practitioner - Correctional Facility (Texas)

The Opportunity :

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Nurse Practitioner to work full-time in a dynamic correctional healthcare setting. You will provide primary and urgent care services to an adult patient population, making a real difference in their lives.

Highlights :

Schedule : Full-time, 40-hour work week.
Support : Collaborating Physician is provided.

Responsibilities :

Provide comprehensive primary care, chronic disease management, and minor urgent care.

Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient health records.

Collaborate with nursing staff and facility personnel to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications :

Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain one) in the state of Texas.

Active DEA registration.

Experience in correctional healthcare, primary care, or urgent care is a plus.
