Responsibilities Work in a five-room Cardiac Cath Lab within an acute care, Level I trauma, Magnet hospital Typical census is 25 with adult cardiac and interventional procedures Responsibilities include circulating, diagnostic catheterizations (adult), left and right heart catheterizations, and Swan Ganz monitoring Schedule is three 12-hour day shifts (6 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM) Weekend work required : 2–3 weekends per contract Rotating on-call is required as needed Floating within hospital and to affiliated nearby hospitals required Uses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience required Scrubs are provided Duties include performing and monitoring adult cardiac Cath Lab procedures and procedural sedation Modules completed virtually on first day and annually thereafter Must complete all onboarding tasks, lab appointments, Docusigns, and badge photo within one week of contract signing Onsite parking is provided with a required permit at no cost Holiday coverage required for at least 2 of 3 major holidays during the contract No more than 5 days of time off (excluding holidays) are pre-approved; additional requests require facility approval Locals are accepted First-time travelers are welcome Requirements Active RN license for Illinois in hand at time of application Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or Red Cross only; RQI not accepted) Minimum 1 year recent interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience Experience in procedural sedation administration and monitoring required Proficiency with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required Cerner EMR experience required Must provide SSN and DOB for compliance Any former perm or PRN employees of Memorial must have at least 12 months separation before applying as a traveler Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-604003.
