Staff Production Automation Engineer (Machine Vision)

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril's Core Automation team is seeking a Staff Production Automation Engineer to join our team. The Core Automation team is responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of automated manufacturing systems across Anduril factories. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to help define what production automation looks like for Anduril at a national scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Develop and implement machine visions systems for automation systems, quality inspection, defect detection, and process monitoring
• Specify, procure, validate, and sustain vision system components such as cameras, lenses, lighting, controllers, and software
• Oversee the installation, validation, and commissioning of vision systems in production environments across multiple product lines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate high-precision inspection systems into production lines and automation systems
• Lead efforts into RCCA on vision systems and process failures
• Train production staff on the operation and maintenance of vision systems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

US Salary Range

$166,000-$220,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and / or training, critical skills, and / or business considerations.
