Travel Nurse RN - Psych - $1,950 per week in Spring Grove, MN

Overview We currently have a client in Spring Grove, MN looking for a Travel Geriatrics RN - Geriatrics Registered Nurse! Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Certified Geriatrics RN, who will responsible for evaluating, treating, prescribing medications and ordering labs and diagnostics as appropriate as well as writing for consults, meeting with families and phone calls to families and staff at facilities. This practice uses EMR for all documentation and ordering. This candidate must be able to work independently but will work closely with physicians. This is a full time Monday through Friday position with no weekend and no holiday responsibility. Candidates need to possess phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety. Contract Assignment - 13 Weeks (Temporary) Shift : 5x8 Evenings Responsibilities : Conduct in - home assessments on health plan members, including past medical history, review of symptoms, physical examination, medication review and depression screening. Responsible for checking vitals, conducting a physical exam that includes monofilament test, urine dipstick and foot exam (as appropriate). Identify diagnoses to be used in care management and active medical management in the furtherance of treatment. Formulate a list of current and past medical conditions using clinical knowledge and judgment and the findings of your assessment. Requirements : Excellent communication and listening skills Exhibits major team player qualities Willingness to assist others when needed Maintain a positive attitude toward work and others Perform routine duties independent of supervision but consults with others as required.
