Buyer

We are seeking a skilled Buyer who excels in negotiation and supplier management. The ideal candidate will secure favorable terms, manage supplier relationships, and reduce risk and cost while ensuring high-quality delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to secure favorable terms and reduce costs.
  • Maintain and enhance supplier relationships to ensure delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Analyze quotes and evaluate the total cost of ownership using ERP tools.
  • Monitor procurement KPIs and ensure cost awareness.
  • Facilitate clear communication with engineering, planning, quality, and finance teams to align specifications, timelines, and budgets.

Essential Skills

  • Expertise in procurement and purchase order management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and aerospace purchasing.
  • Strong skills in contract negotiations and analytics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of buying experience, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
  • Work Environment

    This position is based onsite in Hawthorne, where you will collaborate closely with various departments. The role requires working in a dynamic environment that emphasizes precision and collaboration.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hawthorne, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following :
