Registered Nurse

We are looking for a motivated registered nurse to join our busy pain management practice to work in our ambulatory surgery center.  This is a part-time position that will have weekly scheduled hours.

Job Summary :   The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in the delivery of high-quality patient care during various pain management procedures. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the RN provides comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgeries, injections, and other interventional procedures. The nurse ensures the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients while adhering to established protocols and standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities :

Patient Assessment :

Conduct pre-operative assessments, reviewing medical histories, allergies, and current medications.

• Assess patients' physical and emotional status to create an individualized care plan.
• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and other relevant parameters before, during, and after procedures.

Intraoperative Care :

Assist physician during certain pain management procedures.

Postoperative Care :

Assess and manage pain levels, providing appropriate pain relief interventions.

Patient Education :

Educate patients and their families about the planned procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care instructions.

Documentation and Reporting :

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.

Quality Improvement :

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance and Safety :

Adhere to all regulatory standards, policies, and procedures related to nursing practice and patient care.

Qualifications :

Compensation details : 30-35 Hourly Wage
