Joining our Technology Consulting team, you will play a key role in helping organizations optimize their operations and achieve strategic objectives that advance public services. We offer comprehensive technology consulting services to assist state and local agencies in successfully fulfilling operational and programmatic needs.

We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to take the lead in providing technical oversight for a crucial public sector state government modernization initiative while also contributing to team development and project portfolio growth within our Technology Consulting Practice Area.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact for expert consultation, assistance, and direction to support a major ERP Migration project, ensuring all project requirements are satisfied.

Oversee and collaborate with the project team to deliver Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services for the ERP migration project.

Be accountable for system assessments and stage-gate deliverables generated by the team, ensuring alignment with our practice strategy and methodology.

Guarantee that assessments and deliverables are of high quality, thorough, and offer valuable insights into the ERP Migration project.

Engage with stakeholders at all levels, from technical personnel to executive management, to influence decisions and drive objectives forward.

Qualifications

Applicants must be based in SC, GA, or NC.

Experience in the implementation or technical project management of a large-scale cloud-based ERP system (preferably transitioning from SAP ECC to SAP S / 4HANA RISE Migration).

Quality Assurance or IV&V experience with significant HR / Financial system implementation projects.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in implementation, IV&V, project management, QA, and oversight services for state governments, focusing on Enterprise HR / Financial Systems, Health / Human Services, Education, Finance, or Systems Integration.

Exceptional writing skills and the ability to effectively present to various audiences.

Proficient in collaborating with diverse stakeholders and interacting with systems within large-scale environments.

Strong communication skills to influence decisions across different levels.

Self-motivated with a positive attitude and the political acumen to navigate objectives while fostering a cooperative environment.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

Willingness to travel up to 25% regionally and, on occasion, across the country, approximately twice a year.

Serves as a Subject Matter Expert on S / 4HANA RISE migration.

Preferred Technical Skills

5+ years of experience with SAP modules (S / 4HANA, ECC, BW, FICO, MM, SD) and their integration.

Solid understanding of SAP architecture, including frameworks, landscapes, and data modeling.

Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP RISE Platform, SAP Business Technology Platform) and cloud migration strategies.

Familiarity with SAP integration tools and methodologies (APIs, middleware such as SAP PI / PO, CPI, cloud connectors).

Knowledge of SAP HANA and SQL.

Proficiency in ABAP, Fiori, Java, or other relevant programming languages for customization.

This position is hybrid with some travel or onsite requirements. To excel in a remote role at PCG, successful candidates must :

Devote full attention to PCG responsibilities.

The compensation range for this role at Public Consulting Group varies based on location, role, skill set, and experience, and is set between $88,000 and $140,000.
