Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA for its Adult Medicine department in Ames. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include : patient interaction in-person, on my chart and on the phone, rooming, vitals, medication refills, medication prior authorizations.

Education

• Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants

Certification / License

Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA

Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.

Days : Monday - Friday. One afternoon out

Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Experience

Clinic experience preferred.

EMR experience preferred.

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
