Position Overview :

As a Patient Care Technician, you will work under the guidance of a Nurse Leader, performing essential duties that support direct and indirect patient care activities. You will play a vital role in creating a safe, efficient care environment and ensuring a positive patient experience while adhering to hospital standards and procedures.

This role demands flexibility in scheduling and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Opportunities for career advancement are available through a clinical ladder based on your skills, certifications, and experience.

Qualifications :

  • No experience required; on-site training provided.
  • Completion of PCT-specific HHC orientation.
  • Certification as a BLS Provider (American Heart Association) required within 60 days of hiring.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred .
  • Some experience in an acute care hospital environment preferred .
  • Current BLS Provider certification preferred .
  • CNA, CPCT / A, EMT, or CMA certification is preferred for advancement eligibility.
