This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

The position will involve working 40 hours per week, in four 10-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m., with a rotating call schedule that includes both weekend and weekday call requirements.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Operating Room. This position may require floating to other facilities to fulfill staffing needs. The call rotation will be shared between two designated teams, and holiday call may be required if a holiday occurs during the contract period. Variability in the call rotation may happen based on patient census and staffing levels.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Operating Room.

    • \n

  • Ensure a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate patient care effectively.

    • \n

  • Monitor, record, and report patient conditions pre and post-operative.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.

    • \n

  • A minimum of 3 years of current / recent Operating Room experience is required.

    • \n

  • Preferred experience in Robotic, Neuro, and Ortho procedures.

    • \n

  • Proficiency with Epic EMR is recommended.
