Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Medical Assistant, you will : prepare patients for examination and treatment, take patient histories and vital signs, prepare exam and treatment rooms, give injections, assist with lab testing and phlebotomy, assist physicians, assist with transfers and scheduling, coordinate patient physicals, screen incoming calls, and work with workplace injuries.

You should have : 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting, experience using an EHR system, graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting, back office training program, certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants, and the ability to obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certificate and Federal Drug Screening Certification.
