We are seeking a Restaurant Equipment Service Technician (also known as a Chemical Service Technician) to join our Boise branch at Bargreen Ellingson. The Service Technician is responsible for providing quality service to our customers who have various types of commercial appliances that require service. This can include serving customers at restaurants with dish machines, or at hotels, schools and other customers who lease and service equipment with Bargreen Ellingson.

No experience in this field is required! We're looking for someone who is mechanically minded and has a willingness to learn. If you're hands-on, enjoy figuring out how things work, and are eager to develop new skills, we’ll provide the training you need to succeed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Manage their given territory with exceptional service to customer accounts.
• Install and maintain chemical dispensers at restaurants, laundry, grocery and health care facilities.
• Install and maintain dish machines from under counter to conveyor units at restaurants, grocery and health care facilities.
• Maintaining the appearance of the service vehicle, both inside and out.
• Managing parts inventory and conducting cycle counts for their assigned service vehicle as necessary, as well as following up on any discrepancies.
• Conduct routine and thorough preventative maintenance visits at customer accounts to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Respond to and resolve emergency service calls during business hours & after hours / weekends when on call. Rotating on-call schedule is required.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with key individuals (customers, territory sales reps, suppliers, and co-workers).
• Work with management to provide any necessary training for employees.
• Must be safety / security conscious, adhere to the guidelines in the Safety Manual, and report any accidents or incidents immediately.
• Be knowledgeable about and follow company policy and procedures.
• Outstanding relationship-building skills coupled with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity.
• Other duties as assigned.
