Gulfstream G650 / G550 Senior Captain
RH is seeking a full-time Gulfstream G650 / G550 Senior Captain supporting a Part 91 / 135, multi-aircraft operation located in the Bay Area at KAPC airport. The ideal candidate will need to be an experienced International Captain with specific experience in corporate flight operations. In addition, this candidate shall be a standout colleague while seeking excellence in every aspect of his / her performance. Senior Captains will report to the Lead Captain.
A Senior Captain will be a properly certificated pilot, who, when assigned, will act as Pilot-in-Command ("PIC") of company aircraft. As PIC, a Senior Captain will be responsible for the safe conduct of the flight. In this role, you will be in complete control of aircraft operations and will have absolute authority in deciding whether a flight may be safely dispatched.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as Pilot-in-Command of company aircraft when assigned, with full responsibility for all aspects of the trip and the assigned crew
- Ensure that the requirements established by the FAA and RH Aviation Department regarding all aspects of a flight are met
- Escalate operational or safety anomalies encountered in flight to the Director of Aviation
- Supervise any maintenance performed on an aircraft away from home base
- Maintain a high degree of proficiency in the assigned aircraft through recurrent training and PIC Proficiency Checks
- Available for duty according to a prescribed schedule or as required
- Maintain increasing level of aviation knowledge, FAR's, air traffic control procedures, and proficiency commensurate with experience
- Strive for and promote a safe, team-oriented approach to managing each flight using industry accepted Crew Resource Management techniques and best practices
- Maintain a professional manner reflected by dress, attitude, and courtesy
- Perform all specific duties assigned by the Lead Pilot and Director of Aviation
- Participate in the company aviation SMS, taking an active role supporting the open sharing of information on all safety issues, and reporting all safety hazards and concerns
