Job description

Supervisor, CT Technology

Location : Community Teaching Hospital just outside of Boston, MA

  • $15K sign-on bonus!
  • Onsite parking!
  • Newly renovated Imaging Department.
  • Community hospital with major medical center resources.
  • Hands-on position with 2 administrative days.
  • No call and no weekends.
  • Longevity in the department – core group of CT Techs have been there for many years.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the day-to-day oversight and technical management of CT program staff. Provides direction and professional feedback and training to the CT team and program.
  • Participates in staff hiring, work allocation, training, performance management, including required documentation, as well as other supervisory functions.
  • Supports and guides technologists, technicians and other staff to ensure high quality clinical care of patients.
  • Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations.
  • Oversees 15+ FTE’s.

    • Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology required.
  • Computed Tomography certification through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT ARRT) required.
  • 5+ years of hospital / clinical setting experience.
  • Formal or informal leadership experience (such as Senior Tech, Lead Tech, & / or Supervisor) required.
  • Possess a high level of technical expertise in radiologic technology to problem solve complex issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients, their families and staff.
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] preferred.
