Ultrasound Technician

Job Summary :

The Ultrasound Technician performs basic ultrasound procedures such as OB, Abdominal, DVT, Carotids, and Breast scans on pediatric to adult patients. They may also assist with invasive procedures like Thoracentesis and Paracentesis.

Location : Massena, New York, United States

Responsibilities :

• Perform basic ultrasound procedures including OB, Abdominal, DVT, Carotids, and Breast scans.
• Scan pediatric to adult patients.
• Assist with invasive procedures such as Thoracentesis and Paracentesis.
• Work in an outpatient setting.
• Collect patient data and specimens.
• Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
• Answer unit phone and directs calls accordingly.
• Coordinate equipment / supply needs.
• Notify appropriate department of equipment malfunction.
