Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel RN Position Job Notes : Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Work in Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) on 7C floor
• No call required
• Every other weekend schedule
• Patient ratio of 4 : 1
• Float to Telemetry and TCU stepdown units as needed
• Must have experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms
• Must have experience with potent non-titratable drips
• Must have experience with respiratory patients including trachs, Bipap, and airvo
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• EMR system : Meditech
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be a team player and open to feedback
• Unit has 22 beds with typical day shift staffing of 1 charge nurse, 6 RNs, and 3 PCTs
