We are looking for a traveling medical assistant for immediate start! This is an equal opportunity position. We do not require a licensed medical assistant. Looking for someone that is teachable, team player, hard working, organized, kind and honest. We will train.

We travel with our providers to our patient's homes conducting house calls with a combination of telehealth visits on a need basis. Our patients are located throughout Chicagoland and suburbs. MA must be flexible in traveling to all areas and be able to work with different providers.

We are seeking for someone to assist during home visits 4-5 days/week, 8:30am-5pm, hours can vary.

Overtime pay (time and a half) is given for hours worked over 40 in one work week. Hourly pay is $16-$18/hr.

Must know how to use a laptop/computer/cell phone/email/internet and be very organized, responsible, has to have initiative and a warm and welcoming persona to join our family oriented team. Must be able to communicate effectively via text throughout work day and multi-task. Must be flexible to work with all our medical providers. Bilingual candidate (English and Spanish) only please.

Responsibilities

• -must have a valid drivers license and driving experience
  
  -meet doctor at a location
  
  -join doctor in company vehicle, you will do the driving
  
  -review paperwork with doctor
  
  -during home visit be able to translate from Spanish to English and English to Spanish
  
  -take vitals
  
  -transcribe for doctor on laptop
  
  -get medications ready for doctor to review
  
  -assist doctor on anything they need during the interview and document
  
  -assist doctor during medication reconciliation
  
  -do erx for new meds and also for refills
  
  -ask/confirm pharmacy name and #
  
  -ask/confirm PCP name and #
  
  -help doctor electronically fill out any orders
  
  -help doctor fill out any script orders
