Electrical Technician / Control panels (1st shift)

Overview

Position : Control Panel Builder 2

Location : Anaheim, CA - 92807

Client : Leading Automotive Industry

Duration : 3 months contract (Temp to perm)

Payrate : $25 / hr

Shift : Monday - Friday from 7 am to 4 : 30 pm

Responsibilities

• Fabricate entire back plate, enclosure and wiring of control back panel and enclosure doors
• Identify wiring or drawing errors and report back to engineer for correction
• Identify hardware components within a control system
• Proficient at recognizing and installing all types of wire labels and device tags
• Proficient at reading and understanding tape measures (Metric and Standard) and other measuring devices
• Proficient at reading Mechanical and Electrical drawings with minimal assistance
• Proficient at recognizing and reading wire gauges and colors on all wires
• Competent at recognizing wire gauges, ampacities and their uses
• Proficient at installing wire labels and device tags
• Proficient with FAB shop power tools and their uses
• Read and identify colors on wires; confident working with hand tools and all power tools with little guidance
• Completely comprehends Electrical and Mechanical drawings
