Description :

Skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Mechanics fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and structures. The ideal candidate will have over five years of hands-on experience working with sheet metal materials, a strong understanding of fabrication techniques, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication & Assembly : Measure, cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal parts and products using hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery.
• Installation : Install HVAC duct systems, roofing, siding, or other sheet metal components in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure precise fabrication and installation.
• Quality Control : Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications, tolerances, and company quality standards.
• Welding & Joining : Perform MIG / TIG welding, riveting, soldering, and other metal-joining processes as needed.
• Maintenance & Repair : Diagnose issues, repair damaged components, and perform preventive maintenance on sheet metal systems.
• Safety & Compliance : Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures; maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaboration : Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other trades to complete projects efficiently and accurately.
