Radiology Technologist Job Details

Location : Charleston, SC 29407 (South Carolina healthcare jobs)

Facility Setting : Cardio Cath Lab – Adult West Ashley

Assignment Type : Travel healthcare contract

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days, Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM (5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours / week)

On-Call : No

Weekend Requirement : No

Floating : Possible to similar units

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,760 - $1,890

Radiology / EP Tech Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Electrophysiology Tech

National Certification : ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or CCI (Cardiovascular Credentialing International) required

Active South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License (SCQRSA)

BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required

Experience with Epic charting system preferred

Radiation badge required (provided by agency)

First-time travel healthcare professionals accepted with prior experience

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted)

EP Tech Responsibilities

Assist with adult cardiovascular procedures, including :

Diagnostic Catheterizations

Permanent Pacemaker Insertions (PPI)

Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion

Right Heart Catheterizations

Temporary Pacemaker insertions

Conduction studies

Insertion and programming of AICDs

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias

Maintain sterile technique and equipment setup

Perform EKG lead placement and hemodynamic monitoring

Ensure accurate documentation in Epic EMR

Maintain inventory and stock medical supplies

Float to similar healthcare units as needed
