Boilermaker Supervisor I

You will serve as a BOILERMAKER SUPERVISOR I in the Mechanical Shop (Code 930), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Responsibilities :

• You will provide technical accountability through expert knowledge of the methods, techniques, processes, procedures, tools, materials, and practices of the boilermaker trade.
• You will exercise supervision over subordinate workers accomplishing boilermaker and or mixed trade work.
• You will secure assistance from specific trade experts for the quantity and quality of work performed by other trades.
• You will carry out Equal Employment Opportunity policies and communicate support of these policies to subordinates.
