Job Description

Location : City in Indiana offering a serene and welcoming environment with a strong sense of community. About 30 miles to South Bend and 60 miles to Fort Wayne.

Facility : Facility offering primary care and specialty care.

Opportunity :

• Schedule is Monday through Friday 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., or until all patients are seen.
• Call is 1 : 7 (phone call only)
• Conventional Family Medicine practice treating chronic disease management; dressing changes; sutures; biopsies; pap smears; joint injection / aspiration
• Basic laboratory services are available and basic procedures such as skin tag and mole removal, suturing, and joint injections may be performed.
• Treating pediatrics to geriatrics
• Candidate will join one Nurse Practitioner
• Average patient census per day is 18-22
• Opportunities for teaching exist with residents [clinical teaching and supervision].
• May be required to maintain active membership status on the medical staff
• EMR : Epic
• Qualify for federal school loan forgiveness program
