Chief of Maintenance

The Town of Webster is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Maintenance Chief for the Sewer Department to supervise, lead and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance at the Town's wastewater treatment plant and collection systems, and to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines. This position will work closely with the Sewer Superintendent to conduct all aspects of the operation of 19 pump stations, 57 miles of pipe, and the advanced wastewater treatment plant maintenance program.

Applicant shall have 3 to 5 years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, certification, licensure, and experience. A valid Driver's License. A Grade 4 Wastewater Treatment License is required or the ability to obtain within 1 year. CDL, Class B with air brake endorsement; hoisting license preferred. Evening or weekend work may be required. The hourly compensation range for this position is $36.00hr - $42.77hr depending on experience and qualifications.
