Setting : Emergency Department (ER) – Clinical nursing support

Employment Type : Local, On-Site

Schedule : Every Saturday and Sunday (weekend ER RN position)

Hours per Week : 24

Contract Duration : 13-week nursing contract

Start Date : November 10, 2025

No block scheduling or special requests

Limited RTO : No more than 3 days accepted

Pay Rate : $86.49 per hour

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1390–$1460

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

BSN required (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)

Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience

At least one completed travel nurse contract assignment

High-volume, fast-paced ER experience preferred

Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State RN License

Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (certifications must be valid at time of submission)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy emergency room setting

Assess, triage, and manage acute and urgent medical conditions

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide patient-centered care

Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Participate in required orientation and training modules (virtual and in-person)

Comply with all departmental and hospital policies and procedures

Orientation : Includes virtual welcome meeting, online HealthStream modules, in-person classes, and unit-based orientation. Completion of all orientation activities is mandatory for continued employment in this ER RN job.
