Job descriptionFull & unrestricted License in any State, or US Territory BC / BE (ABIM) Min. of 1 year of exp. in direct patient care BLS, ACLS DEA NPI Provide comprehensive Gastroenterology care, including clinical services & procedures. Offer consultative services at the patient's bedside for non-ambulatory patients, & in the clinic for those who can visit the OP facility. Notify patients of their test results promptly. Deliver discharge educ & follow-up instructions, coordinating with the next care setting for GI patients. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities & attend committee meetings as required by the facility's Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or their designee. Complete necessary QM / PI documentation for procedures, complications, & outcomes, adhering to patient safety & infection control standards. Strive to prevent medication errors, falls, & patient injuries during care delivery. Perform any additional duties as assigned.
