Kiwi's Clubhouse - Gahanna, a creative child care club, is looking for full and part-time teachers who would begin immediately.

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Childcare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging childrens intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. If you have a passion for helping children learn and reach their potential, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

  • Create a fun learning environment through play
  • Facilitate learning through our literature-based curriculum with crafts, educational centers, and science
  • Engage children in games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
  • Follow a daily care and activity schedule
  • Provide basic care and caregiving activities
  • Communicate with parents and update them on their childrens activities

    • Qualifications :

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Strong understanding of child development
  • Patient, kind, and nurturing
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills

    • Physical Requirements

    Physical requirements refer to the level and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform critical tasks in support of critical job functions.

  • Standing and walking throughout the majority of the shift
  • Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Stooping, crouching, and kneeling
  • The ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech
  • Visual acuity - near, far, and peripheral vision
