Job Description

Position Title : Logistician I

Location : Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), Philadelphia, PA

Clearance Requirement : Department of Defense Secret Clearance (Active)

Work Schedule : Forty hour work week schedule with some overtime allowed. Approximately 95% on-site at NSWCPD; up to 5% travel as required.

Contingency : This position is contingent upon contract award

The Logistician I will provide business operations support for NSWCPD’s CTF, focusing on logistics-related functions. This position supports programmatic objectives in areas including, but not limited to, processing support, records management, financial analysis, quality management, manpower / personnel / training support, planned maintenance, continuous improvement, and metrics tracking.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform logistics support for supply programs and projects , ensuring timely and efficient flow of materials and resources.
• Assist with records management, documentation, and reporting related to logistics activities.
• Coordinate with program teams to support manpower, personnel, and training requirements.
• Support planned maintenance and continuous improvement efforts through logistics planning and execution.
• Monitor metrics related to logistics operations and provide actionable insights for program leadership.
• Collaborate with financial and quality management personnel to ensure alignment of logistics functions with program objectives .
• Maintain compliance with NSWCPD, NAVSEA, and Fleet standards and procedures.
