Responsibilities for Professional Dog Groomer :

  • Minimum 3 years of professional dog grooming experience required.
  • Maintain an upbeat attitude.
  • Calm an anxious dog.
  • Ensure company policies are being followed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need.
  • Shampoo and wash a dog's hair or fur.
  • Create a clean and welcoming environment for dogs and their owners.
  • Cut or shave a dog's hair or fur.
  • Clean the dog's teeth.

Qualifications for Dog Groomer :

  • Ability to work with other groomers.
  • Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 50 pounds.
  • Grooming abilities with a minimum of 3 years experience.
  • Calming presence to soothe dogs.
  • Must be able to work within a team atmosphere.
