About The Position

Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) for an 8-week contract assignment. This role requires candidates with strong PET CT experience and certification through CNMT, NMTCB, or ARRT, along with active BLS certification. Both local candidates and true travelers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities :

Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET CT imaging, in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.

Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.

Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

Monitor patient condition and provide clear instructions to ensure safety and comfort during procedures.

Document patient information, procedures, and results accurately within the charting system.

Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Adhere to safety standards, radiation safety regulations, and hospital compliance protocols.

Job Requirements

Key Requirements :

Contract start date : ASAP (preferred within 2 weeks).

Daily Caseload : To be confirmed by facility.

On-Call Requirement : None.

Weekend Requirement : None.

Floating : Not required.

Qualifications

Education :

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Experience :

Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required.

PET CT experience is mandatory .

First-time travelers are accepted.

License / Certifications :

BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required.

CNMT, NMTCB, or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) – Required.

Skills :

Expertise in PET CT imaging.

Strong patient care and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Proficient in radiation safety practices and compliance.
