Overview
Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Team Manager (STM) to manage a site security team at a client datacenter. The STM reports to the Campus Security Manager and works with other security team managers on the campus to ensure a safe and secure environment. Responsibilities may include client service, problem resolution, security operations center (SOC) systems maintenance, audit compliance, system monitoring, log maintenance, and access rights maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Actively manage site security personnel; partner with the local branch to recruit and hire, oversee onboarding, training, and development at the datacenter.
- Coach security personnel and carry out disciplinary actions in accordance with current policy.
- Ensure responders and control room supervisors adhere to policies and standard operating procedures; act as responder or control room supervisor during high activity or staff absence.
- Ensure site health and key performance indicator goals are met or exceeded; collaborate with the CSM to enhance security team effectiveness and performance.
- Conduct recalling audits and prepare / submit critical and confidential information to client management.
- Oversee site security systems to ensure safe and compliant operation of the facility.
- Maintain and troubleshoot on-site security technology.
- Assist with site equipment inspections and audit compliance.
- Maintain required security documentation with accuracy according to policies and procedures.
- Serve as primary contact to datacenter management and security personnel when the CSM is unavailable.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management and keep leadership informed of major accomplishments, issues, and concerns.
- Identify security shortfalls and propose improvements to the security program; evaluate and escalate safety issues as needed.
- Follow safe work practices and company policies related to job safety; notify supervisor of unsafe conditions.
Minimum Hiring Standards
Must be at least 18 years of age.Must have a reliable means of communication (e.g., cell phone).Must have reliable transportation (public or private).Must have the legal right to work in the United States.Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently.Must have a high school diploma, equivalent, or GED.Must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background investigation.Education / Experience
Associate degree in a relevant field and 4 or more years of related security or business management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform essential functions; management experience preferred.Experience with Microsoft Office.Experience in a datacenter environment is a plus.Working knowledge of security technologies including CCTV, access control, incident management software, and other video surveillance systems.Special Requirements
Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday hours as needed (e.g., during emergencies).Competencies

Requires the physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Typical demands include maintaining composure under pressure, potential exposure to stressful situations, overtime as needed, and extensive computer use. Physical activities may include sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and occasional exposure to inclement weather or protective gear when required.
