We are looking for a Robotic Cell Operator to join our team. This position requires working independently on our Waterjet machine.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate and maintain high pressure equipment
• Gather materials, operate controls and inspection of parts
• Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed and feed
• Confers with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining problems
• Perform compliance tests on robotic / automation equipment to maintain ISO and safety standards
• Ensure all required preventive maintenance is completed on machine
• performs other duties and assignments as directed
• must have the ability to detect equipment malfunctions and adjust machine accordingly.
• Communicate with supervisor, and quality, to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain and improve automated robotics systems in an effort to maximize efficiency

The requirements below are a representation of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required to be successful in this position :

• Must possess strong mechanical aptitude
• 3-5 years combined education and on the job training
• Experience with Fanuc preferred
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work with a variety of trade tools (tools of the trade may include hand tools, cutting tools, measuring tools)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Ability to communicate effectively written / oral
• Must be able to stand for long hours and frequently walk up / down stairs
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to successfully execute assigned robotics / automation project task required

Education Required : Must have at least a high school diploma or GED plus; 2-4 years of experience or 2-4 year technical degree in related field (Automation / Robotics / Electronics)

Schedule :

• This position follows a 3-12's schedule. Work 36 hours, get paid 40!

Schedule : Friday - Sunday from 6 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM.
