Facility in Chino Valley, AZ seeking Family Medicine locums coverage Rates : $150 / hr

Assignment Duration : Ongoing Position Overview : Facility is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice Physician to join their outpatient clinic. This position primarily serves a high geriatric population with occasional minor procedures such as toenail removals, lesion removals, Pap smears, and joint injections. Responsibilities :

  • Schedule :
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday : 7 : 30 AM - 5 : 30 PM.
  • Full-time coverage, 20 days per month.
  • Daily Duties :
  • Provide comprehensive family practice care with a focus on the geriatric population.
  • Perform minor procedures such as toenail removals, lesion removals, Pap smears, and joint injections (negotiable).
  • Work collaboratively with a support team including a Medical Assistant, Triage RN, Front Office Staff, and Clinic Manager.
  • Patient Population :
  • 100% adult and geriatric patients.
  • No pediatric patients.

Qualifications :

  • Certification :
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine - Required.
  • BLS, DEA - Required.
  • Licensing :
  • Active Arizona State License - Required.
  • Experience :
  • Fellowship - Required.
  • Other Requirements :
  • Clean malpractice history preferred.
  • Must demonstrate a history of positive collegial relations with colleagues, support staff, hospital-based providers, administrators, and patients.
