Vessel Human Resources Manager
Oversee communication and information dissemination to vessel crew related to benefits available to Develop and execute fleet-wide communication initiatives on important company initiatives
Develop and then assist with implementation of improved performance management processes across all jobs on the vessel
Enhance efforts to provide timely and useful information to the crew on all benefit matters
Conduct regular audits of all areas of responsibility
Establish and execute KPI for crew readiness : coordination, documentation, information and process flows
Create crew engagement initiatives that can be rolled out on fleet and vessel level for all crew
Manage HR aspects of crew-up, rotations, vessel staffing, crew compensation, and vessel returns
Manage workplace investigations as needed and assist in claims / injury investigations
Manage retention and turnover on assigned vessels
Partner with the Claims Department in managing and mitigating claims

Knowledgeable and up-to-date in federal, state and local employment law
Proven investigative experience and techniques
Up-to-date knowledge of CIS, USCG, OSHA and DOT rules and regulations
Understanding of the fishing industry from an operational standpoint
Must be able to prioritize projects to meet critical deadlines
Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledgeable about data base systems or HRIS
Proficient in written and verbal communication
Strong interpersonal skills
Understanding of tactical and strategic HR functions and processes
Credibility in honoring commitments and treating all situations fairly and with sensitivity
Sensitivity to cultural differences present in a diverse workforce
Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed
Minimum six years of progressive human resource experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
Supervisory experience desired
Anticipated hours are :
Monday Friday 8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM Hybrid Optional
Salary Range $95,000 - $130,000 DOE
