Job Title : Janitorial Team

Department / Location : Janitorial / Blue Ash

Supervisor : General Manager / Maintenance Manager

Compensation : Hourly

Job Description : The Janitorial Team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities. The janitorial team supports a great guest experience by ensuring excellent presentation of our company in guest-facing areas.

Job Purpose : To support the crafting of excellent guest experiences, by ensuring facilities exceed guest’s expectations of cleanliness.

Job Qualifications :

  • Ability to follow directions pertaining to food safety, chemical safety, and daily maintenance of equipment
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Works days, nights, holidays and / or weekends as required
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Must have problem solving abilities, and time-management skills
  • Commitment to accurately and quickly prepare and deliver items to guests
  • Coachability
  • Pleasant and friendly demeanor through entire shift
  • Commitment to cleanliness of our facility : willingness to assist in cleaning of restrooms, auditoriums, and other areas as directed

Job Tasks :

  • Adhere to company standards of cleanliness in all areas of our facility
  • Communicate with managers when maintenance issues arise
  • Ensure proper use of chemicals while cleaning, and proper use of any equipment
  • Ensure janitorial operations are running smoothly by completing all “Jolt” checklists in a timely manner
  • Ensure restrooms are fully stocked, and well-detailed prior to opening
  • Pro-active in getting things done and exceeding expectations of both guests and team members
  • Observe and follow sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of cinema
  • Stocking and putting away items in concessions and in restrooms
  • Showing flexibility and willingness to perform tasks outside of an assigned position
  • Complete training and attend classes as directed
  • Taking out trash as necessary
  • Comply to all manager requests for any cleaning tasks or other duties
  • Greeting and welcoming, answering questions, thanking and saying goodbye to guests

  • Ability to speak and hear
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 45lbs.
